This activity can be used to help your participants see and connect to the important differences between facilitation, teaching, and lecturing. This facilitator guide was written to help you communicate the key lessons in Chapter 2 of Unlocking the Magic of Facilitation without your group needing to read the chapter (though that would certainly be great too!)

This activity takes minimal props (flip chart paper, markers, wall space), engages participants in small group work to get them thinking and chatting and takes about 30 minutes.
